Defendant was convicted of attempted rape (Pen. Code, Â§Â§ 664, 261, subd. (2)), forcible child molestation (Pen. Code, Â§ 288, subd. (b)) and two counts of furnishing marijuana to a minor (Health & Saf. Code, Â§ 11361). In addition, enhancements alleging substantial sexual conduct (Pen. Code, Â§ 1203.066, subd. (b)) and special trust (Pen. Code, Â§ 1203.066, subd. (a)(9)) were found to be true. Defendant was sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison. He appeals these convictions seeking reversal because of a variety of errors alleged to have occurred before and during his trial. We reverse defendants conviction of attempted rape and affirm the judgment in all other respects.
